Every year at the end of the CIF
High School season, the best seniors in Southern California have one
last chance to enjoy the game that they love with friends and family.
California's Southern Section
is arguably the toughest area in the country for High School soccer.
Teams battle for four months looking for the elusive CIF Champion ring.
Who will win this year? That is unknown.
 Every year after the dust has settled the best in the
southern section get together one last time to play.
This year on
March 4th there will be three more games show casing the talents of the
best in the Southern Section.
The games will be played at Basset High School in La Puente. At noon
the Boy East vs. West will begin the festivities. At 2pm will be the
Girls North vs. South. At 4pm will feature the Boys North vs. South.
Previous players at the games include Eric Wynalda, Cobi Jones, Calos
Bocanegra, Joe Max More and Marcelo Balboa.

CZ Elite - Developmental League Inaugural Season
|
| For over 35 years Cherif Zien has
been working with soccer players from all over the Los Angeles Area. He
has coached championship teams at both the club and and college levels.
His players have matured into top-flight division 1 collegiate players
for the top colleges in the country as well as their countries national
teams and professional clubs throughout the world.
This fall marks the inaugural
season of the Southern California Development League. The league was
founded to allow the top clubs all over southern California a league
where player development was the focus. CZ Elite was a founding member.
As Cherif said, "The league allows players time to develop their skills
in a supportive environment that includes some of the best competition
in the country". The league includes top teams from the boys academy
system and girls elite club national league.
 After a successful first season for CZ Elite the club is
now expanding into the Inland Empire. Peter Hason has been hand
selected by Cherif to begin the expansion. Peter comes with a life time
of experience in soccer at all levels including D1 at SMU and
professional play in Spain. Peter's goals, along with Cherifs guidance,
for the Inland Empire teams are lofty and ambitious. This comming
spring will begin the expansion with five teams including a girls U12
side and boys U16 side. Peter has spent his life time researching
player development with a scientific method. CZ Elite is excited to
bring Peter's experience and enthusiasm to the club.
